Curtains
Curtains are lined with a cotton fabric.
They can also be interlined with a thermal interlining for extra warmth.
Blackout lining can be used to reduce light filtering into the room.
Measuring up
I can measure up for you, but if you would like to do this yourself please read the sections below.
Curtain Headings
Various curtain headings are available, pencil pleat, pinch pleat, triple pleat, goblet, beaded and button adornments.
How much fabric do I need
As a rough guide, the quantity of fabric required is approximately 1.5 - 2 x the length of the pole, (this is the width). It will also depend on the type of heading that you would like.
This figure is multiplied by the drop length (from the top of the heading to bottom of the hem) plus adding 30cm for turnings etc.
If there is a pattern in the fabric that needs matching, extra needs to be allowed for the repeat of the pattern. You can ask me about this.
See 'Curtain Measurement' guide below.
